Design

How your website is designed and built are two very different, but equally important questions you need to ask about your site. Both design and configuration affect the overall quality of the site, its search engine friendliness, and how user friendly and navigable it is. These factors in turn define if your web site is really going to work for you in the long run.
Here's a little checklist of factors that set great sites apart from mediocre ones.
- Visual Design: If your site has a professional appeal, people will more likely trust in you and your service.
- Easy Navigation: If your site is confusing, people aren't going to try and figure it out. They'll simply move on to your competitor.
- Quality Content: Good, clean, simple content that sends your message. Most of the time, people won't read page after page of copy text!
- Web Standards: Your site needs to be built properly to be able to fully utilize how search engines work and survive over time as technology progresses.
Centennial Arts offers fully custom web designs created by professional designers. This means two things.
- Built around you, your website will flow naturally and effectively. Your customers may not know it, but they'll be able to feel (and enjoy) the difference.
- A custom design means we build the website around your goals and the site flow more naturally around your content.
All our designs are compliant with the latest web standards, tested across a variety of platforms, search-engine friendly, and above all, professional and high-quality.

Hosting and Maintenance

What many people don't realize when they think about website's is that, like any media, a website needs to be published and distributed before people can start using it. When you a hire a company to make a website, it's like hiring a writer to make a book; namely, all you get are pages on a CD.
What happens then? Well, in the same way that a writer needs to find a publisher and distributor, a website needs to have a host and a domain. A host is synonymous with a publisher while a domain (or more specifically, a domain registrar) is synonymous with a distributor.
Centennial Arts does both domain registration, website hosting and maintenance all in-house. Our servers are configured for high reliability and optimum performance. We offer unlimited content (images and text) updates with all of our hosting plans. Best of all, the hosting, maintenance, and domain registration are included in all of our design packages at no extra charge!

Networks
Networks offer a variety of significant benefits to a workplace including centralization of information, security authentication and data redundancy. In particular, having a server installed and configured in your business can offer the following benefits:
- Account Mobility: Users can move from machine to machine and still have access to all their personal settings and files on each machine.
- Data Redundancy: Data (files, images, contracts, pdf's, etc..) from individual machines can be backed-up onto a central storage server which in turn can be backed-up onto several drives ensuring, even in catastrophic situations, your data is recoverable.
- Security: All users are required to authenticate through a log-in server meaning you can quickly monitor and restrict/grant access to individual files and services as needed by your particular needs.
- Centralized File Storage: By storing information on a centralized file server, they can be accessed as needed on any machine connected to your network. You can even access the files from off-site!
Centennial Arts can evaluate your business to determine a feasible and efficient configuration for your network. Regardless of whether you are requesting a new network or upgrading an existing one, we will vet our contacts to ensure you receive the most productive configuration at the lowest cost.
